New Delhi, Aug 03 : Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra continued his remarkable run of form by winning the gold medal at an international athletics meet with his best throw of the season. The Indian javelin star delivered a consistent series throughout the competition before producing the winning effort that kept him ahead of a strong field.
Chopra looked confident from the opening round and steadily improved his distance with each attempt. His winning throw underlined his technical consistency and physical fitness as he prepares for the major championships later this year.
Speaking after the event, Chopra expressed satisfaction with his performance but said there was still room for improvement. He noted that maintaining rhythm and staying injury free remain his primary objectives as he targets bigger international competitions.
