NEW DELHI: India’s corporate sector is gearing up for a fresh wave of investments as improving business sentiment, resilient domestic demand and continued infrastructure spending encourage companies to expand operations.

Executives from multiple industries have indicated that capital expenditure plans are gaining momentum, particularly in manufacturing, renewable energy, logistics and consumer goods. Industry leaders believe stable macroeconomic conditions and government led infrastructure development have created a favourable environment for long-term investments.

Manufacturing companies are expected to enhance production capacity to meet rising domestic consumption and growing export opportunities. Several firms are also investing in automation, digital technologies and supply-chain resilience to improve operational efficiency.

The infrastructure sector continues to attract significant investments as ongoing road, rail, airport and urban development projects generate demand for construction materials, engineering services and industrial equipment.

Experts say private sector participation will play a crucial role in sustaining India’s economic growth over the coming years. Increased investments are also expected to create employment opportunities while strengthening the country’s manufacturing ecosystem.

Market analysts believe that a healthy banking system, improved corporate balance sheets and supportive policy measures will encourage businesses to undertake new projects despite global economic uncertainties.
