Mumbai, Aug 04 : Google has announced the latest cohort of its AI-focused accelerator programme in India, selecting 20 startups working across sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, finance, gaming, e-commerce, and productivity solutions.

The selected companies will participate in a three-month equity-free programme designed to help developers strengthen their artificial intelligence products, improve application quality, enhance security systems, and explore growth strategies.

The initiative aims to support Indian entrepreneurs building AI-based solutions for both domestic and international markets. Through access to Google’s technology ecosystem and expert guidance, participating startups will receive assistance in scaling their products and improving user experiences.

The rise of AI startups in India reflects the country’s growing focus on artificial intelligence innovation. Entrepreneurs are increasingly developing solutions that address real-world challenges through automation, data analysis, and intelligent decision-making tools.

Experts believe programmes supporting AI innovation can help strengthen India’s startup ecosystem by encouraging advanced technology development and enabling emerging companies to compete globally.

With artificial intelligence becoming a major driver of digital transformation, initiatives focused on AI entrepreneurship are expected to play an important role in shaping the future of India’s technology sector.
