New Delhi, August 8: Blackstone owned healthcare services company AGS Health has filed updated draft papers for a proposed Rs 4,800 crore initial public offering (IPO) in India, marking another step towards its planned stock market listing.

The company submitted the updated documents nearly two months after receiving clearance from India’s market regulator to proceed with the public issue. The proposed offering is valued at around $504 million, according to the updated filing.

AGS Health provides revenue cycle management services to healthcare providers, primarily supporting medical organisations with administrative and financial processes associated with patient care.

The proposed listing comes as India’s healthcare services and technology ecosystem continues to attract significant investor interest. Companies operating across hospital services, diagnostics, healthcare technology and related support segments have increasingly turned to capital markets to fund expansion and strengthen their operations.

The updated filing represents an important development for AGS Health as it prepares for its potential public-market debut. The company is backed by global investment firm Blackstone, which has expanded its presence across India’s healthcare sector.

The IPO could provide the company with additional access to domestic capital markets while increasing its visibility among institutional and retail investors.

Healthcare revenue cycle management has also become an increasingly important segment as hospitals and healthcare providers seek to improve financial administration, claims processing and operational efficiency.

The proposed offering will now remain subject to the applicable regulatory and market processes before the company can proceed with the final issue.

The development highlights the continuing expansion of India’s healthcare business ecosystem, where specialised service providers are increasingly emerging alongside traditional hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and medical technology firms.
