MUMBAI, Aug 07 : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially started preparations for his next feature film, marking his return to socially relevant cinema. According to industry sources, the project will blend emotional storytelling with contemporary social themes, a genre that has defined several of the actor’s most celebrated performances.
Pre-production is currently underway, with script readings, casting discussions and location scouting progressing simultaneously. The filmmakers are reportedly finalising the supporting cast before announcing the complete project.
The upcoming venture is expected to feature a fresh narrative while maintaining the actor’s reputation for meaningful cinema. Production is likely to begin in the coming months, followed by an extensive shooting schedule across multiple locations in India.
Trade analysts believe the film could become one of Bollywood’s most anticipated releases, given Aamir Khan’s selective approach to choosing scripts. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement revealing the title, director and release timeline.
Industry insiders say the makers intend to unveil further details once the pre-production phase reaches completion. Until then, expectations remain high for another performance-driven film from the actor.
